Survey: Our daily food
I am conducting a small survey on the topic of food justice.
I am a full-time farmer living in a small village in Romania. I have been growing food for myself and others since 2021.
I would like to know:
- What would you need to buy your food from a farmer? Easier access, more time, lower prices?
- Where do you buy your vegetables, eggs, milk, meat, and pasta?
As far as I can see, there are farmers who cannot afford a decent living, and there are people who would like to eat healthily but have no time, no access, or no money. Small farmers often do not have a lot of start-up capital to invest in basket systems, organic certifications, marketing strategies, and business plans.
Very simply:
- How can the old lady next door buy/have healthy food while I pay my bills?
- How can we all be healthy, respected, and safe?
